Bay Area Country Music
"I knew that the only thing that made me happy was playing music, and come hell or high water, that's what I'm going to do," Lane says in a San Francisco Bay Guardian article by Beth Hillman about the San Francisco Americana scene.

The article, titled "Hillbillies from Heaven: Why Country Music in the Bay Area is Ready to Rise from the Dead," appeared in the Bars & Clubs Spring 2002 section (pg. 13).
